A)  What is Idioms ?

Test your knowledge of English idioms and idiomatic expressions, it contains over 700 frequently used idioms, with detailed explanation for each and every idiom.

Idioms is an iPhone/iPod Touch application that lets you play a quiz game.

B) What are the Topics ?

We have categorized all questions in 7 different topics,  Each topic contains different questions related to the specific section.

  

C) What is Mixed Test ?

Mixed test has 100 questions randomly selected from each topic. To pass, you must answer 75 correctly. Here you can choose the number of questions for the test. 

D) What is Progress Meter ?

Progress Meter provides an average score in percentage for all the topics you have taken.

E) Can I re-attempt the Missed Questions ?

Yes, You can re-attempt the questions that you answered incorrectly in practice test.

F) Can I skip a question if I want to ?

Yes, You can skip a question. Just shake your iPhone/iPod and you will be shown next question.

G) I like the sound effects. But can I turn them off ?

Yes, You can turn the sound effects on or off in settings window.

H) Can I change the default time limit per question ?

Yes, you can change the timer settings in settings window. Minimum time allowed is 10 seconds and maximum time allowed is 3 minutes.

I) Can I see the score and time taken for the quiz ?

Yes, you will be presented with a detailed results page at the end of each quiz, which will include the topic name, your score and time taken.

J) What else does results page contain ?

Results page contains full list of questions, all choices of answers.  Correct answer is shown in green color,where as chosen option if wrong, is shown in red color. Other options are shown in black color.

K) Can I e-mail results to myself ?

Yes, you can e-mail results to yourself by touching email icon at the top-right corner.

L) Where can I send questions, suggestions or feedback ?
